I'm Liz Browning and, I help brides navigate the process of finding a wedding gown and manage their dress on their wedding day.
Shopping for a wedding gown is like going on a blind date, where no one tells you what to expect, but you hope to have a good outcome. If you are spending thousands of dollars on a gown for the most important day of your life, then you should know everything you're getting into before you purchase it.
That's where I come in: I help you prepare for the shopping process and accompany you on your bridal appointments. After you say "yes" to the dress, l'll be there to help you manage your dress, including on your wedding day!

Origin Story
It was Saturday afternoon. I was working at an exclusive resort in Palm Beach, not in the wedding department, but in the hotel gift shop. I was just about to clock back in from my break and...
There she was, a beautiful bride in the hotel lobby, just married in the ballroom, in an elegant ballgown, posing for a picture with her new husband beside her. She gathered the train behind her but struggled to keep it up. As any gentleman should, her husband picked it up for her, but it was so long that they both struggled with it together.
There I was, a former bridal consultant watching this adorable scene unfold. I could not help myself but to interject and help her. I politely introduced myself and informed her that I had experience working with wedding gowns. Before I knew it, I was helping her walk with her gown and gave her a tip on fluffing the train for pictures. I even bustled her dress for her, right there in the hallway!
I left the couple to themselves as they thanked me with great joy. In the moment, I was honestly so happy to help her and glad that I was in the right place at the right time. As the day went on and I continued my usual tasks at work, but my encounter with that bride was on my mind throughout the rest of my shift.
I began to ask myself:
Do all brides go through something like this on their wedding day? Does anyone tell them how to wear a gown that weighs eight pounds of elegant tulle and a train longer than she is?
That night, I had an AHA moment!
A wedding gown is the most important purchase of a woman’s life, nevertheless brides often lack information about them entirely. You can save dresses on Instagram and plan your dream wedding on Pinterest ten years before you even have a boyfriend. Yet, no one tells you how the shopping process works, what to expect from a bridal appointment, and most importantly, how to wear and manage your gown on your wedding day.
Encountering the bride in the hotel lobby, along with years of experience as a bridal consultant, led me to conclude that there is an information gap between the bride, bridal shops, and the dress she chooses. I created Browning Brides to bridge the gap and be a trusted companion for brides, supporting them through every step of finding and perfecting their dream dress.
